Kat Moore writes poetry & prose, sometimes true & sometimes fiction. The essay is her favorite genre. Her work has appeared in various journals such as Hippocampus, The Rumpus, Salt Hill, and Whiskey Island. She is the current Assistant Essays Editor for the American Literary Review. She was formerly the Creative Nonfiction Editor & Social Media Director for the Pinch Journal. Moore earned an MFA in Creative Writing at The University of Memphis, and currently is pursuing a PhD at the University of North Texas.
